Anvi Ultimate Defrag

Anvi Ultimate Defrag, as its name so adequately points out, will defragment your drives – and as we all know, this is something that will boost your computer’s performance. Speaking about performance, the nice thing about Anvi Ultimate Defrag is that it does more than defrag drives. The application can also repair file system errors, remove unnecessary junk files, and optimize disk drives.

The system requirements for running Anvi Ultimate Defrag are: 300Mhz processor or better, 128MB of RAM memory or more, 50MB of free disk space, 32 or 64-bit Windows edition (Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP SP2 and SP3 are supported).

When you launch Anvi Ultimate Defrag for the first time, you will be presented with a 3-step guide on how to use the application. Only after going through these steps will you be able to access the application’s interface. What’s nice about it is that the dark-themed interface is good looking and easy to navigate. What’s not so nice is that it displays ads for other Anvisoft products.

As highlighted in the 3-step guide that appears when you first launch Anvi Ultimate Defrag, using the application is a very simple matter.
Step 1 – select the disk volumes or drives you want.
Step 2 – select the operations you want the program to execute. Pick and choose between repair, clean, defrag, and optimize.
Step 3 – click the big Start button from the lower right hand corner and let Anvi Ultimate Defrag do its job.

The tasks presented above can be run on-demand (manually launch them) or they can be run automatically (set up a schedule and the application will run them automatically).
The task to defragment your drives can be set up to be run automatically every time you boot up your PC, once a day at startup, or once every 7 days at startup.

Anvi Ultimate Defrag is free for all as of January 2015, when Anvisoft rolled out version 1.2 to the public.

Anvi Ultimate Defrag is a properly good defrag tool for Windows, and that’s nice. What’s even nice is that it can also repair file system errors, clean junk files, and optimize disks.
